Rainbows on the Southern Sky: the legacy value of ESO Public Surveys and Large Programmes
Structure of the workshop
Workshop will start on Monday 05.10.2015 at 13:00. Workshop will end on Friday 09.10.2015 at 14:30
The Program is structured around these seven main topics:
- Planets
- Stellar astrophysics
- MW and Local Group
- Extragalactic astronomy and local universe
- Galaxy evolution
- Cosmology & high reshift universe
- Legacy value of surveys & large programmes
These topics will be introduced by keynote speakers illustrating the latest results from surveys and the open questions to be addressed. All Keynote reviews will be 30+5min long, the invited talks will be 25 mins + 5 min question time.
There will be poster sessions with short talks on poster presentations.
