Guidelines for talks and posters

If you are one of the lucky ones who have been assigned a talk or a poster, please note the following guidelines:


TALKS
:

  • Invited review talk: 30 minutes (25 for the talk + 5 for Q&A).
  • Contributed talk: 18 minutes (15 for the talk + 3 for Q&A).
  • Presentations must be uploaded at least 24 hours before your talk through the link you will receive per email.
  • Please name your file "CMF2IMF_Talk_LastName_FirstName.pdf".
  • The accepted formats are: PDF (preferred), PPTX or KEY if videos/animations.


POSTERS
:

During the workshop, you will be given the opportunity to deliver a flash talk of your poster (see next session).

  • Posters must be in A0 format (841mm × 1189mm) and oriented in portrait layout.

  • Posters should be printed on a single sheet (not multiple pages).

  • We will need an electronic version of your poster that we will share on the community workshop Slack and on Zenodo, if you agree to the latter.

  • Please, save your poster file in PDF format with the following name "CMF2IMF_Poster_LastName_FirstName.pdf".

  • Posters must be uploaded by Monday, 8th June through the link you will receive per email.

  • The file size should not exceed: 20MB.  

 

FLASH PRESENTATIONS:

  • You have the opportunity to deliver a flash presentation of your poster (strictly 2 minutes) on Tuesday, 9th or Wednesday 10th. The LOC will send you send you an email before the workshop to confirm you the day.

  • Please, save you file in PDF format with the following name "CMF2IMPF_PosterFlash_LastName_FirstName.pdf".

  • Please upload your flash presentation by Monday, 8th June through the link you will receive per email.

  • The file size should not exceed: 20MB.

  • If you do not upload your flash talk by the deadline, we will assume that you are not interested in giving a flash talk.

  • During the workshop, be ready to present your flash talk with the other poster presenters the day of your poster session.
