ERIS 2015: Registration

No new registrations are possible. Payment for previously agreed registrations will still be accepted.

A reduced registration fee of 90 euro will be charged for any new applicants.  This does not include accommodation. However, we can refund up to 100 euro of your accommodation expenses on presentation of a receipt.   The registration fee covers:

  • lunches, tea and coffee at ESO;
  • buffet dinners on September 7 and 8 and
  • a weekly U-Bahn ticket for travel between the hotel and ESO or into central Munich (except for local participants).

You should receive an automatic acknowledgement when you submit your registration. Once your registration is accepted, we will inform you by e-mail and put your name on the Participants list.

For accommodation options in Garching, Garching Hochbruck and Munich, see Accommodation. Motel One in Garching Hochbruck will probably not have any rooms available, but you could try for a cancellation. Please do not try to use the block booking. The Ibis Hotel offers good rates and is next door to Motel One and the U-Bahn station.

Payment should be made by August 5 2015 by credit card at Registration Fee Payment. If you do not have a credit card, please contact eris2015@eso.org as soon as possible so that we can arrange a bank transfer.

The standard registration (180 euro), which covered:

  • accommodation for 5 nights at Motel One in Garching-Hochbruck, arriving on September 5 and leaving on September 10;
  • lunches, tea and coffee at ESO;
  • buffet dinners on September 7 and 8 and
  • a weekly U-Bahn ticket for travel between the hotel and ESO or into central Munich.

is not available for new applicants, as we have filled the hotel block booking.

If we have already informed you that your standard registration has been accepted, please contact the hotel directly to reserve a room. Details are given at Accommodation.
