Outgassing of CCD Components in the Vacuum
Table of Contents:
Abstract:
We analyzed possible outgassing of high-grade cleaned electronical and mechanical components of CCD cryostats in the vacuum using a mass spectrometer.
While most probes showed little or no emission, we found stronger outgassing especially for the vacuum connector, VITON™ O-ring, painted shields, glue and finger grease.
