New Helpdesk Software to be Deployed for La Silla Paranal Users Community Support

ESO will soon deploy the new helpdesk software Deskpro to handle questions and support requests coming from the user community.  Starting on July 5th, 2021 a new website, https://support.eso.org, will be available for all the users of ESO services, offering a knowledgebase as well as a contact form to request support.

The Deskpro software has been chosen jointly with the partners of the ALMA project, who have been using this tool since December 2020. By using the same tool for the support of the La Silla Paranal users community, we are striving to provide a better and more uniform experience for all users.

Once the tool is deployed, users will be kindly asked to use the online form to request support from the various groups providing support to the community. The following email addresses will be decommissioned once we start using Deskpro:

Because of migration to the new helpdesk software, there may be a couple of days delay in addressing new requests that arrive between 2-5 July. The requests that arrive before 2 July will be handled with the old helpdesk software.
