The European Interferometry Initiative (EII) is announcing that registrations are now open for the 11th VLTI School, funded by the Opticon/Radionet Pilot programme, with support from ESO.

The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 50. There is no registration fee. Limited funding will be available for accommodation and travel.

Applications for funding before March 1, 2023, will receive full consideration pending on merit and available budget.

The School will take place from 12-17 June 2023 in Budapest, Hungary. The theme is "Advanced analysis for optical/IR interferometry: from spectro-interferometry to imaging with the VLTI". The school is aimed at post-graduate students and early-career postdocs interested in learning the basics of optical/IR interferometry, the Very Large Telescope Interferometer and its instruments, and how to obtain, assess and analyse interferometric data.

Questions regarding the school, accommodation, and/or funding may be addressed via the contact form on the school's website: https://vltischool2023.konkoly.hu/
