The first data release of the SINFONI Survey for Unveiling the Physics and the Effect of Radiative feedback (SUPER, Circosta et al. 2018; ESO Large Programme 196.A-0377, PI: Mainieri) is now available to the community on ESO Archive via the Science Portal or programmatically.

This release consists of 20 SINFONI cubes targeting z=2-2.5 Type-1 AGNs in the H (or H+K) band. The adaptive optics module was employed during the IFU observations, abating the effects of atmospheric turbulence down to a superb angular resolution of 0.2 arcsecond (corresponding to ~2 kpc at the AGN redshifts). In combination with the long exposures (of the order of 1-7 hour), the data provides 3D spatially resolved high-quality maps of the H-Beta and [OIII] emission lines and of the stellar emission from the AGN host galaxies.

More information about the release content can be found in the accompanying documentation.
