Differential Guiding Procedures
This is the procedure that was last tested at the 2.2 WFI and it is believed to be the most suitable one for Observations with Differential Guiding.
- Note down the rates on the Differential Guiding space on the TCS Control Panel.
- Retrieve field.
- Reduce the size of the box on the TCS Skycat Panel.
- Use 1 sec. of integration time.
- Turn ON the A.G. (start to box)
- Turn ON the "Differential Guiding"
- Click O.K. on BOB pop up window (start the OB)
Once the integration and reading are over
- Wait until you are asked to start the A.G.
- Turn OFF the "Differential Guiding".
- Start Monitoring (just to check out where the star actually is).
- Pick Object
- Turn ON the A.G. (start to box)
- Turn ON the "Differential Guiding"
- Click O.K. on BOB pop up window (continue the OB)
