The pipeline does not detect the waffle spots in my K-band data.
For K-band data the detection of the waffle spots is difficult due to the high background. Setting ird.star_center.sigma to 100 may be helpful. Alternatively one can try to remove the background manually before processing the data.
The parameters are set to detect waffle spots. If you want to process data taken without a coronagraph you should change the following parameters:
ird.star_center.use_waffle to false
ird.star_center.sigma to 500 (the stars are usually extremely bright).
