Zooming in on the Trifid Nebula, and two Cepheid variables far beyond
This zoom video takes the viewer deep into the spectacular central regions of the Milky Way. The final sequence closes in on the famous Trifid Nebula, as seen in a new infrared image from the VISTA telescope at ESO’s Paranal Observatory.
