Planetary Transit (fulldome artist's impression)

One of the ways to detect a planet around a star is via the transit method. This involves looking for the small dip in light coming from the star due to a planetary body passing between the star and yourself (the observer). This artist's impression, suitable for fulldome, shows one of these transits.
