SPHERE optical bench
Detailed view of the SPHERE optical bench is shown with the main subsystems clearly visible.
SPHERE (Spectro-Polarimetric High-contrast Exoplanet REsearch) is installed on the ESO Very Large Telescope, and will assist researchers by directly imaging exoplanets which are larger than Jupiter.
