Viaje a los observatorios de ESO en Chile en un recorrido virtual especial

El 2 de diciembre a las 19:00 hrs. (hora central europea), únase a una visita guiada especial de nuestros sitios, que se realizará en vivo. Vea lo que sucede detrás de escena en nuestros observatorios en Chile, ubicados en uno de los lugares más remotos de la Tierra. Descubra lo que se necesita para operar un telescopio en medio del desierto de Atacama y lo que los astrónomos buscan descubrir allí. Únase a nosotros en la sala de integración de la sede central de ESO en Alemania y mucho más.
El evento se transmitirá en inglés, en el canal de YouTube y en la página de Facebook de ESO. Tendrá una duración de una hora y habrá una sesión de preguntas y respuestas al final. Durante el recorrido, nuestro equipo también responderá a sus preguntas sobre astronomía a través de las redes sociales.
El Planetario y Centro de Visitantes ESO Supernova en Garching, cerca de Múnich, Alemania, organizará un evento público gratuito el mismo día, en el que se transmitirá este recorrido virtual y habrá astrónomos e ingenieros de ESO disponibles para interactuar con los visitantes y responder sus preguntas. Este recorrido virtual es parte de una campaña para conmemorar el 60 aniversario de ESO. Bajo el lema "Pies en la tierra, ojos en el cielo", hemos estado organizando varias actividades que se centran en cómo estamos construyendo nuestro legado para continuar la historia de éxito de colaboración internacional en astronomía. Una de ellas es una serie de mensajes en redes sociales publicados con el hashtag #ESO60Years que exploran nuestros planes para el futuro: desde los descubrimientos que esperamos hacer posible en las próximas décadas y las tecnologías que se están desarrollando en ESO con aplicaciones en otras áreas, hasta cómo estamos contribuyendo a la sociedad en términos más amplios y cómo estamos trabajando para un futuro más sostenible, tanto desde una perspectiva ambiental como socioeconómica.
Se están organizando otros eventos públicos en distintos Estados miembros y socios de ESO, y la lista se actualiza continuamente. Consulte aquí para ver si hay algún evento cerca de usted.
