Modelling and analysis of mechanical characteristics of thin brazing joints for SiC brazed mirrors of the ELT
M4 reference body and M5 mirror are made of brazed SiC. The joints between the razed segments are always mechanical weak points. The goal of the internship will be to model and analyse the mechanical characteristics of such joints.
