Le nouveau chasseur d’exoplanètes ouvre grand ses yeux

La station MASCARA (Caméra Plein-Ciel et Multi-Site) installée à l’Observatoire de La Silla de l’ESO au Chili a capté sa toute première lumière en juillet 2017. Ce nouvel instrument dédié à la recherche d’exoplanètes en transit devant leur étoile hôte de brillance élevée contribuera à la création d’un catalogue de cibles destinées à faire l’objet d’observations ultérieures.
