VLT UT1 soon ready to receive the astronomers

The video clip starts with a view from the outside of the VLT enclosures, followed by a sequence with the moving UT1. The FORS1 instrument at the Cassegrain focus is serviced. The night's observations are prepared from the VLT Control Room. Another external view in the evening twilight, followed by a series of images from the UT1, illustrating the various types of objects (at increasing distances) that will soon be observed by "visiting" astronomers.
