Tähtitieteilijät ovat havainneet ALMA:n (Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array) avulla merkkejä Sagittarius A*:ta, eli galaksimme keskustan mustaa aukkoa kiertävästä 'kuumasta pisteestä'. Löytö edistää tietämystämme oman supermassiivisen mustan aukon arvoituksellisesta ja dynaamisesta ympäristöstä.
