Pomocí dalekohledu MPG/ESO s primárním zrcadlem o průměru 2,2 m astronomové pořídili pestrobarevný záběr jasné hvězdokupy NGC 3532. Některé z hvězd stále září namodralým odstínem horkých stálic, ale mnohé jejich hmotnější sestry se již staly rudými obry a svítí červenou nebo oranžovou barvu.
