Nuevo espectáculo de planetario: El Sol, la estrella de nuestra vida

ESO anuncia con orgullo un nuevo producto que se suma a su colección de materiales de alta calidad y acceso gratuito para planetarios, producido por músicos, artistas, técnicos y astrónomos de renombre mundial. “El Sol, la estrella de nuestra vida”, narra la historia de nuestra estrella más cercana, la batería nuestro planeta, la fuente de energía que impulsa los vientos de la Tierra y el clima y la bola de luz que permite la existencia de vida. “El Sol, la estrella de nuestra vida” se proyectará en el planetario de ESO Supernova desde el 7 de septiembre y también está disponible para su descarga gratuita desde el sitio web de ESO.
El Sol, la estrella de nuestra vida, revela el impacto que nuestra estrella tiene en cada aspecto de nuestras vidas aquí en la Tierra. Explore el papel del Sol, que da pie a la vida y a que esta se mantenga, desde la fotosíntesis hasta los seres humanos. Descubra cómo el Sol dicta los días, estaciones y años. Profundice en la historia del impacto del Sol en la cultura y la religión humana. Aprenda sobre la naturaleza dinámica del Sol: lo que aparece como un disco plano en el cielo es en realidad un cuerpo celeste violento y en constante evolución que quema 600 millones de toneladas de hidrógeno cada segundo. “El sol, la estrella de nuestra vida” permite a los espectadores experimentar el Sol de una manera nueva, con imágenes nunca antes vistas de su turbulenta superficie en formato inmersivo a cúpula completa, revelando su poder y variabilidad con un nivel de detalle impresionante.
Esta nueva película de planetario fue producida conjuntamente por ESO y el talentoso cineasta griego Theofanis Matsopoulos, quien también dirigió la película. Se mostrará periódicamente en el Planetario y Centro de Visitantes ESO Supernova desde el viernes 7 de septiembre de 2018. Las proyecciones, que se harán en alemán y en inglés, son gratuitas durante el 2018 y se dirigen a público en general y a grupos escolares, incluyendo niños y niñas mayores de 10 años. Pueden encontrar más información sobre el espectáculo, así como el enlace para reservar entradas, en este enlace. Es recomendable reservar con antelación, y las entradas pueden imprimirse in situ.
El espectáculo también se ofrece gratuitamente a la comunidad de planetarios de los estados miembros de ESO y otros como parte de la misión de ESO Supernova como primer planetario de acceso abierto del mundo. Cualquier persona interesada puede descargar la película desde la página web> en resolución 4 k. Las narraciones están disponibles en inglés y alemán y están previstos otros idiomas.
La gama completa de material gratuito para planetarios está disponible en el sitio web de ESO Supernova.
