ALMA will give resolutions similar to VLTI, but at mm/submm wavelengths. This talk will outline the technical capabilities of ALMA,
and the current status & schedule. Also described will be some of the areas where mm/submm aperture synthesis interferometry will 
impact hot star research. In particular, I will outline some of the exciting possibilities in the study of disks around massive stars, 
jets and winds, and also stellar photospheres.
