Arriving by plane
La Florida Airport in La Serena is located 6 km from the city centre and just 2 km from the La Serena office. The easiest way to reach the ESO office from the airport is by taxi — it takes five minutes and costs about CLP 1500 (EUR 2.1). If you are an ESO guest, call the La Serena office to arrange a taxi from the airport.
Another option is to rent a car at Econorent, Budget or Hertz — the daily cost is about CLP 50 000 (EUR 70).
