             VLT-SW-MAR2002 - RELEASE NOTES FOR FCD (FIERASW)

The major changes are (with respect to OCT2001):
- buffering of large image data implemented during readout
  to speedup operations (SPR VLTSW20010486)
- Bug in Pulpo server corrected (SPR VLTSW20020071 closed)
- Compilation and execution on Linux tested (only need of data
  byteswapping remains, see SPR VLTSW20010636)
- creation of coredumps should have been fixed (see SPR VLTSW20010436)

Other minor modifications (with respect to OCT2001):
- fcdStart.sh accepts now CCD branch of OnLineDataBase from
  any point (SPR VLTSW20010758)
- script fcdDcsWcs.sh exits appropriately (SPR VLTSW20020030)
