             VLT-SW-APR2003 - RELEASE NOTES FOR Motor Control SW

CONTENTS
========

MCM:
* Added testcases for three new motors that caused problems
* Added new testcase to test parallel initialisation and movement of three motors
* Rewrote existing testcases that failed before
* Extended existing testcases to now test all API functions (some missing before)
* Modified TAT SED script to make output of PPC and 68K Boards identical
* Modified bootScript so that INTROOT is no longer preset to a fixed value

MOT:
* Changed motor descriptor to hold the upper and lower HW limit of the controller
* Changed motsrvMotionTask.c to check if both lower and upper HW limits are resolved
  but equal (meaning that no motion will be possible). In this case the maximum
  upper and lower HW limits from the controller are taken.

MAC4:
* Copy upper and lower HW limits of the current board to the motor descriptor
* Check if limits detected by a "Find UHW/LHW" are outside these board limits
