VLT Common Software Download

The VLT Common Software binary installation is fully supported by the Kickstart DVD installation. The DVD installation includes the required release of the operating system.

The sources provided on this page contain the complete VLT Common Software. The installation of the VLT Common Software from the source code is still possible, though neither recommended nor supported any longer. The sources are provided basically as a detailed source of information for all parties involved in the VLT development.

From the release VLT2009 onward, the complete DVD ISO image and VMware image are available and can be downloaded from this page or connecting directly to the ftp server via the command line (ftp ftp.eso.org). To download the DVD ISO image or VMware zip file with VxWorks you will need to connect as user vltsw-dl with the required password (please ask mailto:vltsccm@eso.org if you need it).
